Young Professionals Council Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser

The Field Center's Young Professionals Council hosted the inaugural cornhole tournament fundraiser in April in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month. The event brought together Young Professional Council members, friends and family, and Field Center staff and students to play in a cornhole tournament while learning about the Field Center's transformative work.

The Field Center's Open House

The Field Center celebrated its newly renovated and expanded space with an evening of cocktails, networking, and center tours. Remarks from guest speaker Cynthia Figueroa, Commissioner of the Department of Human Services, and Dean John L. Jackson Jr. of the School of Social Policy and Practice at the University of Pennsylvania, gave voice to the historic success and continued efforts of The Field Center. The remodeling of the space allows for increased functionality and offers greater opportunity for expansion, research, and growth.

Field of Dreams Luncheons

The Field of Dreams Luncheons are dedicated to the legacy of the late Alan M. Lerner, Esq., Field Center Faculty Director and Professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. A beloved teacher, respected legal scholar, and staunch child advocate, Professor Lerner left an indelible mark on those whose lives he touched.

The Field Center’s 5th Anniversary Celebration

The Field Center celebrated its 5th Anniversary with friends at the brand new Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia.  With an address by University of Pennsylvania President Amy Gutmann, entertainment by the West Philadelphia Children Choir, and remarks by Philadelphia Family Court Administrative Judge Kevin Dougherty and Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman, attendees celebrated the vast accomplishments of The Field Center and toasted its future.  Mayor Michael Nutter served as honorary chair of the event.
