Field Center staff facilitate, manage, and support the Center's diverse child welfare initiatives. Meet our staff below:
Associate Director Sarah Wasch, MSW
Sarah Wasch, MSW, is the Field Center’s Associate Director, where she coordinates a range of child welfare research, training, advocacy, and practice initiatives. A social worker with more than two decades of experience in child welfare and social services, Sarah has held practice, advocacy, and supervisory roles in programs serving children, youth, and families in residential treatment, foster care, and educational settings. Her work focuses particularly on improving outcomes for young people with foster care experience, including expanding access to and success in higher education. Sarah also coordinates the Field Center’s Multidisciplinary Student Training Institute, preparing graduate students in social work, law, education, and related fields to work collaboratively on child welfare issues. She holds a BA in Child Development and Sociology from Tufts University and an MSW from the University of Pennsylvania.
Administrative Coordinator Amber Davis, BA
Amber Davis is the Field Center’s Administrative Coordinator, providing administrative support for all center operations, planning events, and managing external communications. Amber has over a decade of non-profit experience, working as a service coordinator for populations including individuals with disabilities and seniors. Pivoting from her past roles providing direct client care, Amber is excited to use her creativity and managerial skills at the Field Center to support policy, practice and research initiatives promoting child and family wellbeing. Amber has her BA in Sociology from LaSalle University.
