Campus Programming
PROFS Program: Providing Resources and Opportunities for Future Standouts
PROFS is a one-of-a-kind support program for students who are current or former members of the foster care system or students who are homeless/unaccompanied youth. The PROFS program helps students transition to college life and encourages students to reach their potential and be a positive example for others who have also gone through the system and/or systemic challenges. PROFS students are required to participate in PROFS-sponsored semester events (on and off campus), monthly family dinners, monthly group meetings, and monthly meetings with the program’s Single Point of Contact.
Benefits of joining PROFS include:
- Book stipend (if qualified)
- $500 semesterly stipend
- Guaranteed year-round housing (free during winter & summer break)
- Group activities (on & off campus)
- Mentorship
