One Child, Many Hands: A Multidisciplinary Conference on Child Welfare is issuing a Call for Presentations. Proposed presentations are solicited which advance the field of child welfare from the perspective of a variety of disciplines.
Proposals need to include a cover sheet, maximum 25-word abstract, maximum 500-word overview, and learning objectives. Proposals must be received by January 5, 2019 – no exceptions.
Proposals will be reviewed and scored by a minimum of three reviewers in a blind review process. Proposals that are recommended will undergo a final review by the Program Committee. Presenters will be notified on or about January 14, 2019 regarding the acceptance of their proposals.
Presenters must register for the conference by the date indicated with their acceptance and are responsible for all expenses related to the conference, including travel, lodging, and discounted presenter’s registration rate (conference registration includes continental breakfast each day and the conference’s closing luncheon). Presenters will be offered a special conference rate for local lodging and are encouraged to book hotel rooms as early as possible. A conference registration discount will be offered to a maximum of two presenters per presentation. All travel arrangements are the responsibility of the presenters.
